A strange incident come from Bareilly Uttar Pradesh, Lineman of Electricity Department cut off the power of Sirauli Police Station, it all started when Inspector Modi Singh was checking vehicles and Lineman Bhagwan Swaroop aka Pinky was coming on his bike, as per protocol the Inspector stopped the Lineman and asked about the bike papers. Pinky said that he does not have the papers now but will show them later but the policeman did not let him go and cut the challan of Rs 500.
In anger, the lineman took revenge and went to the police station and called other officers of the electricity department and after that the power was cut. The policemen were trying to convince him but the lineman did not connect the wire, according to the lineman, Hardaspur police station was using electricity without a meter.
Chief Engineer of Electricity Department Sanjay Jain said that the team is probing the matter and further action will be taken after receiving the final report.
